Data Security Notification

Dear customer, 

vidaXL recently became aware that an unauthorized external party obtained access to one of our customer data servers. This server was hosted by a service provider. There is no direct evidence that your personal data with us was affected by the data incident.

However, given the nature of the data incident, we would like to inform you that certain of your data may have been accessed by the external party. Possible data categories that have been affected are name, contact details and information regarding purchases made with us.  This information can be used for phishing-attempts.

We would like to emphasize though that the affected data does not contain passwords, credit card or any other payment-related information. Naturally, you should never share such information with third parties if you have doubts about the source of a request. 

We immediately took steps to contain the incident and launched a comprehensive investigation, collaborating with leading information security experts. We have also notified the applicable data protection authorities. 

We remain fully committed to protecting the privacy and security of our consumers, and sincerely regret any inconvenience or concern caused by this incident.
