These XPS foam mats are intended for the sound insulation of floor slabs from high sounds (elastic damping layer). They are also meant to level and compensate for slight irregularities in the surface of the floor underlays. XPS is particularly effective in damp rooms. This material doesn’t absorb water and is resistant to fungi. Another advantage is that the XPS boards have high compressive strength and feature straight edges on all sides. This makes it easy to assemble them.

Note: The boards do not have thermal insulation function.
