This Makita line garden trimmer is excellent for medium-duty mowing jobs and cutting ditches, grass and other rough materials.

The double battery system gives you the convenience of 18 V and the power of 36 V. The wire head and cutting blade can be mounted with ease. When converting from wire head to cutting blade, and vice versa, take the correct guard into account. It is interchangeable with and without star-protected batteries and with a combination of the two. The features include overload and battery capacity indicator. It has a battery charge warning system: one for each battery. It is quiet and environmentally friendly with a Lithium-ion battery.

Also, the trimmer offers optimal power by placing the brushless motor directly above the cutting head and brushless motor for less power loss. As the machine rotates counterclockwise, no specific wire head is required. It is perfectly suited for mowing lawn edges, light weeds and finer material.
