Can I retract or cancel my bid?

When you place a bid on an auction item, you enter a binding contract. It's possible to retract a bid before the end of an auction only in certain exceptions:

Exceptions:
• You made a mistake when entering your bid, e.g. €50 instead of €5.
• The item's description changed significantly after you placed your bid.
